Bear's Crown of Glory

Evidently, Ground Elder is not just about the leaves; it's the stalky flowers that take the crown - quite literally! This is where our Ground Elder journey continues, transforming its delicate white blooms into a flamboyantly extravagant crown for our little king.

Despite their dainty appearance, Ground Elder flowers are surprisingly robust and easy to tie and weave. Once we gathered our flowers, the wreath-making process was much like the leaf wreath, albeit with more giggles and a lot more "wow"s from Bear.

We followed the same steps as our ground elder leaf wreath. We started by forming a loop with a stalk, then weaving more and more stalks until we had a full circle. But, oh, what a circle it was! Oversized and brimming with blooms, Bear's Ground Elder flower crown was more of a halo than a wreath. It was like he had his own personal fireworks display sprouting from his head. And did he love it? Absolutely!

Indeed, the Ground Elder flower crown was a hit. And why not? Its enormous size and white bloom explosion made it a real head-turner, quite befitting a demanding four-year-old who's keen to stand out.

Though it was a silly, extravagant spectacle, it was also a testament to the joy of crafting with nature and the sheer delight it brings, especially to our young ones. So, here's to the majestic Ground Elder, the star of today's floral delight. And to our demanding, yet adorable, Bear, who reminded us that sometimes, going big and bold is just the right amount of cool.
