Pink Rose Lemonade: A Sparkling Floral Refreshment

As the warmth of summer approaches, we find ourselves seeking refreshments that not only quench our thirst but also delight our senses. Our homemade pink rose lemonade, infused with our forage-crafted rose extract, offers a perfect blend of zesty lemon and aromatic floral notes, making each sip a celebration of spring.

Serve the pink rose lemonade over ice, garnished with a sprig of mint or a few rose petals for an extra touch of visual appeal. It pairs wonderfully with light summer fare, making it a lovely accompaniment to brunches or afternoon teas.

Our journey to the perfect glass of pink rose lemonade begins with crafting a basic sparkling lemonade. We start by dissolving 2.5 dl of sugar along with a tablespoon of citric acid and half a tablespoon of glucose sugar in about 2 liters of water. The glucose sugar is our secret ingredient, lending a soda pop-like sweetness that elevates the lemonade from simply refreshing to irresistibly delightful. Once the sugars are fully dissolved, we carbonate the mixture, adding a fizzy kick that brings the lemonade to life.

To serve, each glass is enriched with the juice of half a freshly pressed lemon, ensuring a vibrant citrusy base that complements the subtle floral undertones about to be introduced. The real magic happens with the addition of our rose extract. Depending on personal preference for floral intensity, we add about a tablespoon (or less) of the extract to each glass. This not only imparts a lovely pink hue but also infuses the drink with the exquisite aroma of roses, transforming a simple lemonade into a sophisticated, rose-scented delight.

The final concoction is our pink rose lemonade—sparkling, light, and effervescent with a touch of rosy elegance. It’s perfect for sipping on lazy summer afternoons, during garden parties, or anytime you desire a sip of something extraordinary. The rose extract, carefully crafted from the wild roses foraged in our local woodlands, adds a layer of luxury that makes this drink not just a beverage but an experience.
